[Rafael Mandelman, Board President (District 8)]: Thank you, madam clerk, and thank you, colleagues, for making yourselves available for this special meeting. I wanna welcome, our new colleague from District 4, Bea Alkharaz. And with that, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors acknowledges that we are on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone, who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula. As the indigenous stewards of this land and in accordance with their traditions, the Ramaytush Ohlone have never ceded, lost, nor forgotten their responsibilities as the caretakers of this place, as well as for all peoples who reside in their traditional territory. As guests, we recognize that we benefit from living and working on their traditional homeland. We wish to pay our respects by acknowledging the ancestors, elders, and relatives of the Ramaytush Ohlone community and by affirming their sovereign rights as first peoples. Colleagues, will you join me in reciting the pledge of allegiance? We received a communication from the honorable mayor Daniel Lurie dated 11/06/2025 announcing his appointment of Bea Alcaraz to fill the vacancy in District 4. Supervisor Alcaraz has taken the oath of office as of November 6 and is covered under the bonding credentials. And and as the president said, welcome to this new supervisor, supervisor Alcaraz. The board also does expect individuals to attend this meeting in person. We're located in the Legislative Chamber, Room 2 52nd Floor Of City Hall. The proceeding is airing live on SFGOV TV's channel 26, or you can watch the live streaming on www.sfgovtv.org. If you have public comment you'd like to submit, either in writing, you can address an envelope to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the number one Doctor. Carlton B.
